About Astrology Port

Astrology Port LLC began with a fairly ordinary frustration. Between us we had spent years reading charts for friends, and every time someone went looking for the same thing online they came back with a page of recycled sun-sign copy that could have described anybody. The craft that makes astrology worth doing — sitting with a real chart, noticing what is unusual about it, and writing it down in language a person can use — had almost entirely disappeared from the free end of the internet.

So we built the opposite. You choose your sign, you give us the date you were born, and a reader draws the chart and writes it up. No template, no filler, no upsell waiting at the end of the page.

What we actually do

A star chart reading from us is a written document, usually several pages long. It covers your sun, moon and rising placements as a group rather than in isolation, the transits currently crossing your chart, the patterns that show up around relationships and around work, a handful of periods in the coming months worth paying attention to, and a set of reflective questions drawn from your own placements.

Charts are calculated from the birth details you provide. A birth time sharpens the rising sign and the house placements considerably; without one, your reader will simply tell you which parts of the reading are firmer than others. We would rather say that plainly than pretend to a precision we do not have.

How we think about astrology

We take the symbolism seriously and the fortune-telling not at all. A chart is a rich, old language for describing temperament, timing and tension — and it is a genuinely useful mirror when you are trying to understand why the same situation keeps arriving in your life. It is not a forecast. Nothing in a reading from us will tell you that a particular thing is going to happen, and nothing in it should stand in for advice from a doctor, a therapist, an accountant or a lawyer.

That is not a legal caveat bolted on at the end. It shapes how our readers write. You will find conditional language throughout — tendencies, pressures, windows, questions — because that is honestly what the chart supports.

Why the reading is free

Most people who arrive here have never had a chart read properly and have no way of knowing whether it is for them. Giving the first reading away is the simplest answer to that. Some readers come back later for longer work; most do not, and that is entirely fine. Either way we do not ask for payment details to prepare your first chart, and there is no subscription hiding behind the button.

Who we are

Astrology Port LLC is registered in Colorado and works from an office on 17th Street in downtown Denver. The studio is deliberately small — a handful of readers, one person handling correspondence, and no call centre. If you write to us, one of us reads it.
